Hubballs Bubble Presents Center Of Gravity 2012 Artist Countdown #6: Morgan Page

Our Center of Gravity Artist Countdown continues this week with a look at American progressive house and electric house DJ Morgan Page. After coming off an unbelievable tour with 25+ sold out crowds Morgan Page is going to be a blast at Center of Gravity this year.

Signed to Nettwerk Records he just released his new album “In the Air” on April 3rd 2012. Morgan Page has a unique sound that is great to listen to when you are having some summer beers in the yard with burgers and dogs on the BBQ. After listening to some of his mixes I’ve realized that he can really ramp up the intensity and I’m sure he will put on a great performance Saturday night on the main stage. I have to admit I was a little skeptical at first but the more I listen to his stuff the more I find I like it.

Body Work – Morgan Page feat. Tegan and Sara

Leave The Lights On – Meiko(Morgan Page Remix)

In The Air feat. Angela McCluskey – Morgan Page(Hard Rock Sofa Remix)

In The Air – Episode 98 – Morgan Page

Hubballs Bubble Presents Center Of Gravity 2012 Artist Countdown #7: Miami Horror

Our Center of Gravity Artist Countdown continues this week with a look at Australian electronic band, Miami Horror. I was introduced to the group in my first year of university and have been listened to them ever since. With a sound that fits summer perfectly, there is no doubt in my mind Miami Horror are going to light up the stage on Saturday.

With a 4 piece set, the band will bring a nice change-up to the DJ dominated festival. With the release of the first full anthem Illumination, Miami Horror has become a favourite of many fellow musicians and in turn have been invited on the tours of artists such as Lily Allen, La Roux, and Phoenix.

Holidays – Miami Horror

I Look To You – Miami Horror

June 15th Weekend Warmup

Happy Friday to you! As is a regular occurrence on Hubballs Bubble, we present our top five songs from the past week that are a perfect for predrinking and partying playlists. We kick off the playlist with a new track from one of my favourite rappers right now Dunson. When I saw that he was rapping over the Glitch Mob’s Drive It Like You Stole It I was pumped and didn’t disappoint. The final four songs are all of the electronic type with new dubstep from Gemini, Delta Heavy and Killsonik as well as huge remix of Justice’s New Lands from A-Trak.

YONAS – Drive It Like Its Stolen

Emeli Sande – My Kind Of Love (Gemini Remix)

Justice – New Lands (A-Trak Remix)

Calvin Harris – We’ll Be Coming Back (KillSonik Remix)

Delta Heavy – Get By (Delta 174 Mix)
