Lupe Fiasco Announces He Will Be Playing At Center Of Gravity And Releases New Single In One Weekend

Huge news coming out of this weekend. First, Lupe was added to Kelowna’s Center of Gravity Lineup replacing Chiddy Bang. This was very bittersweet for me as I was really looking forward to Chiddy but to be able to land Lupe is a testament to the festival’s growing success. What makes the Lupe appearence even more appealing is the fact that his new album, Food and Liquor II: The Great American Rap Album, has been confirmed to be released September of this year. That means that we shouldn’t have to listen to much of the not-so-good tracks off LASERS.

That brings us to Lupe’s newly realesed track Around My Way (Freedom Ain’t Free). I got through 30 seconds before knowing that the old Lupe was back. You can buy the track at midnight tonight off iTunes. Enjoy.
