Introducing Fawnfare, One of Best Folk Groups You Will Hear Today

I am very proud to introduce another band to Hubball’s Bubble. Fawnfare, made up of Emily Allan and Sierra Lauren, are based out of my hometown of Bowen Island and are making what can only be described as beautiful music.

The duo grew up on Bowen together and stay close to their roots by maintaining a nature-like theme to many of their songs as well as choosing deer pun as a name. They gathered inspiration from other local Canadians including Dan Mangan, Said the Whale, Aiden Knight, and Feist.

While the band is young, they are being exposed and welcomed with warm reception. They have appeared on CJSF and CBC Radio 3, and have opened for many big local acts such as Ali Milner, The Breakman, and Said The Whale.

With melodic and complimentary vocals, Allan and Lauren have created a sound that will leave you in awe. While not available for download yet, Fawnfare sent in a number of songs that can streamed online. They have hinted that an EP or album will be coming this summer and I’ll definitely post it.

Be sure to check out  Fawnfare on their numerous profiles:
