When you got home from work today and hadn’t heard these songs:

After you hear these songs:

Monday got you down? Well these three tracks are going to cheer you up for sure. We start with a new track from the xx which is so good I’m already counting down the days to their new album Coexist gets released on September 11th (56 days). Then we have an absolutely filthy track from Skrillex which is almost indescribable but will go straight to your party playlist as well as the full(er) release of Madeon’s potential summer blockbuster Finale. As the Skrillex track goes:

I’m going wild for the night, fuck bein polite

The xx – Angels

Birdy Nam Nam – “Goin’ In (Skrillex “Goin’ Hard” Mix)

Check Out Childish Gambino’s New Mixtape Royalty

Everyone has those artists that just cant seem to do any wrong. Like everyone, I have my list and Childish is on it. I’m not even going to attempt to right an impartial review of the mixtape because I don’t think I could. I love it and I am only half way through listening to it. Download it, listen and then let me know what you think.

Timeflies Tuesdays: We Found Love

One of the best releases in my opinion. We have showcased many Timeflies tracks the most recent being their tribute to the Game of Thrones. This is yet another track that demonstrates their amazing talents and they accomany it with some amazing visuals.

Hubballs Bubble Presents Center Of Gravity Artist Countdown #4: The Bloody Beetroots

In order to catch up on the countdown we have a double dose of our artist countdown this weekend. With the SonReal preview yesterday at number 5, this week we have The Bloody Beetroots coming in at number 4.

Yes, number 4. We are FOUR weeks away from Center of Gravity. This week’s preview showcases the always rowdy, loud, in your face DJ’s, The Bloody Beetroots. They have been around for a very long time and still seem to bring the same energy as they did when I first heard them in high school. With an intense hitting bass and tremendous sound, you can be sure to that it is going to get sweaty real fast.

Headlining the stage on Sunday, The Bloody Beetroots are going to send everyone away with a bang and make everyone wish that the festival never ended.

The Bloody Beetroots – Rocksteady

The Bloody Beetroots – Church of Noise

The Bloody Beetroots – Warp 1.9

Hubballs Bubble Presents Center Of Gravity 2012 Artist Countdown #5: SonReal

We’re halfway through our Center of Gravity Countdown and now the juicy part of the lineup will be exposed. Okanagan boy SonReal showcases today’s countdown. Hailing from nearby Vernon, Aaron Hoffman aka SonReal is sure to give us a great show. I saw SonReal at a local club a couple years ago with DL Incognito and it was unreal. He brings passion, style and does a fantastic job of engaging the crowd with his shows.

With two albums already to his name and two great mixtapes, the 26 year old has proven he has what it takes to make it big and will sure provide an amazing time in Kelowna in August.

SonReal – Mind All Day

SonReal – Extra Extra

SonReal – Already There

I know this is a week late and I sincerely apologize for that and the lack of posts this week but it has been an insanely busy week

Check Out Lupe Fiasco’s New Music Video For Around My Way (Freedom Ain’t Free)

Lupe just released the visuals for his new track Around My Way. I loved the song, the music video was nothing special but nonetheless Lupe seems to be back. And I get to see him live at Center of Gravity in one month. Can’t wait.
